I recently had the pleasure of testing out the PORTER CABLE PCCK6118 8 Tool Combo Kit. This is a cordless drill and driver set that comes with an impact driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, oscillating tool, flashlight, jigsaw, orbital sander, and two lithium ion batteries. This kit has a lot of great features that make it a great choice for anyone looking to tackle home improvement projects.
The drill/driver in the kit is a 1/2 drill/driver with 2 speed gearbox 0 350/0 1,500 and built in LED light. It has plenty of torque for most applications at 1450 inch pounds. The impact driver provides 1,450 in lbs max torque at 2,900 rpm and 3,000 bpm. It also has a quick release chuck which makes swapping bits a breeze.
The circular saw in the kit features a high performance motor 3,700 rpm with 5 1/2 18 tooth carbide blade and 50 degree beveling shoe. The reciprocating saw offers high performance drivetrain 7/8 stroke length and 3,000 spm as well as a tool free blade release and variable speed trigger. The oscillating tool has adjustable speed settings to suit different cutting needs while the flashlight provides bright LED lighting for dark work areas.
The jigsaw in this kit is equipped with an adjustable orbit dial for various materials as well as speed control for precise cutting performance. The orbital sander also offers variable speed control from 12000 to 22000 orbits per minute so you can get the perfect finish on any project. Both tools come with dust collection bags for cleaner work areas.
