I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Audio Technica AT2005USBPK Vocal Microphone Pack, and it did not disappoint. This pack comes with a handheld dynamic microphone with both USB digital output for use with computers and XLR analog output for use with conventional microphone inputs.
The sound quality that this microphone produces is outstanding. It has a smooth, extended frequency response which makes it ideal for podcasting, streaming, home studio recording, voiceover work and more. I found that it was able to capture all of my audio with excellent clarity and accuracy. Plus, the USB connection makes it incredibly easy to connect to my computer.
The AT2005USBPK also features a built in headphone jack so you can directly monitor your audio from your microphone. This is great for making sure that your recordings are coming out exactly how you want them to sound. It also has an adjustable studio boom arm with full 360 rotation and adjustable spring stabilized joints with thumbscrews for easy repositioning of the microphone.
The circumaural design of the ATH M20x contours around the ears for excellent sound isolation in loud environments. This ensures that you get the most accurate recording possible without any outside noise interference. The AT2005USBPK also comes with its own hard carrying case which makes it great for portability if you re looking to take your recordings on the go.
