The Educational Insights The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game is a great way to bring the whole family together for some fun and educational playtime. This game encourages strategic thinking, color recognition, matching skills, hand eye coordination, fine motor skills and social emotional skills such as taking turns and sharing. It is easy to understand no reading required! , set up, play and clean up. The game box itself doubles as the game board and storage box.

The game comes with a colorful tree shaped game board, Sneaky the Squirrel Squeezer, 20 colored acorns, 1 game spinner and 4 logs. Players spin the spinner to determine which colored acorn to pick up with their squirrel squeezer. They then place the acorn in their log. The goal is to collect one acorn of each color first in order to win the game. But players must be strategic as they could spin lose an acorn or steal an acorn !

This product is suitable for ages 3 years old through 7 years old. Even though it is recommended for children as young as 3 years old, I found that it was best enjoyed by children 5 years old or older since younger children may have difficulty understanding the concept of stealing or losing an acorn in the game. It also requires good hand eye coordination which younger children may not have yet developed fully.

I was extremely impressed with this product because it allows kids to learn while having fun at the same time! Not only does it help develop key early learning skills such as color recognition and matching skills but also encourages social emotional skills such as taking turns and sharing with others. It is also a great way for families to spend quality time together without resorting to technology based activities all the time!
