Knex Beginner 40 Model Building Set Review

I recently had the opportunity to try out the KNEX Beginner 40 Model Building Set, and I must say that it is an excellent product. The set is designed for 5 12 year olds, and it includes 141 parts, including rods and connectors manufactured in a zero waste, landfill free facility in Pennsylvania. As someone who has tried numerous building sets, I can say that this one is definitely up there with the best of them.

The best thing about this building set is that it is designed to be easy for young builders to assemble. The parts are designed specifically for 5 year olds so that they can build on a flat 2D surface before sandwiching their builds together into a 3D creation. This makes it much easier for younger kids to start building without getting overwhelmed with too many pieces or complex instructions.

In addition to being easy to build, the set also comes with instructions and ideas for 40 different models. These range from cars and skyscrapers to airplanes and rowboats, giving kids a great variety of options when building. I was really impressed by how many different models could be built with just the 141 pieces included in the set.

On top of all of this, building with KNEX helps strengthen fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and spatial awareness great for introducing kids to STEM subjects at an early age! And since the rods and connectors are made in America at a landfill free facility, parents can rest assured knowing their childrens toys are made ethically and responsibly.

Overall, I highly recommend the KNEX Beginner 40 Model Building Set as an excellent starter set for children aged 5 12 years old. It offers plenty of pieces so that kids wont run out of options when creating their builds, as well as easy assembly instructions that make it great even for those who have never built anything before. Plus, it helps foster important STEM skills while also being environmentally conscious what more could you want?
