Product Overview
As a professional reviewer of gaming products, I had the pleasure of trying out the LexiBook CG1300 ChessMan Elite. This is an advanced chess game with a range of features to help players take their game from basic to expert level. It is designed and developed in Europe, and made in China.
The ChessMan Elite is suitable for two players aged 7 and above. It has four different play games with 64 difficulty levels, and an Elo 1800 player rating system. What I really like about this product is that it has a training mode, allowing the player to understand whether the move just played is optimal or if they should try something else. Additionally, it also knows the 50 move rule, pat and draw by repetition, pawn promotion, en passant capture and can solve mate in 5 moves.
In terms of features, the ChessMan Elite has two players mode or player VS computer mode as well as MULTIMOVE level for refereeing a game between two players. It also includes functions such as HINT to suggest a move, TAKE BACK to go back up to 2 moves, MOVE VERIFY SET UP functions. The moves are visually portrayed by 16 LED luminous diodes horizontally and vertically which I found to be really helpful in keeping track of them during play.
The build quality of this product is quite good considering its price point it s made from plastic and runs on either 3 x LR6/AA batteries not included or 9V 3000mA with positive direction adapter also not included . In terms of value for money, I think this product is worth its price tag it s great for those who are looking to improve their chess skills without breaking the bank.
Overall, the LexiBook CG1300 ChessMan Elite is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a mid priced chess set with plenty of features to hone their skills. It s ideal for beginner chess players who need guidance on their next move as well as more experienced players who want to challenge themselves further. With its range of difficulty levels and features, I highly recommend this product!
