Midland ER310, Emergency Crank Weather AM/FM Radio Review

I had the pleasure of testing out the Midland ER310 Emergency Crank Weather AM/FM Radio for a few weeks and I have to say that I was impressed by its features and performance. This radio is perfect for anyone who needs an emergency radio for power outages, camping, or just for general use.

The NOAA Weather Scan will automatically scan through 7 available weather WX band channels and locks onto the strongest weather channel to alert you of severe weather updates. NOAA Weather Alert will sound an alarm indicating that there is a risk of severe weather in your area. Plus, it also has AM/FM radio available so you can listen to music or news broadcasts when not using it as an emergency radio.

Another great feature of this radio is that it allows you to charge external devices like cell phones and tablets using the USB charging cable included . It also includes an ultrasonic dog whistle which could be very useful in helping search and rescue teams locate individuals during an emergency situation.
