TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Extender RE315 Review

I recently had the opportunity to review the TP Link AC1200 WiFi Extender RE315, and I must say that I was quite impressed with its features and performance. The range extender is designed to boost Wi Fi coverage up to 1500 square feet and can connect up to 25 devices. In addition, it has a fast Ethernet port for wired speed and reliability anywhere in your home.

The RE315 is compatible with all Wi Fi enabled devices and wireless routers or access points. It also supports TP Link OneMesh, which allows you to create a mesh network by connecting to a OneMesh router for seamless whole home coverage. This is especially beneficial if you live in a large home or have multiple floors that need Wi Fi coverage.

In terms of setup, the RE315 was very easy to install. All I had to do was plug it into a power outlet, press the WPS button on my router, then press the WPS button on the extender itself. The device automatically detected my router and connected within minutes. After setup, I noticed that my signal strength increased significantly in rooms that previously had poor Wi Fi reception.

I also tested out the fast Ethernet port, which worked great for connecting my game console and streaming media players for faster download speeds and better connection quality. Additionally, I tried out the Access Point Mode feature which allowed me to turn my wired internet connection into a wireless access point using an ethernet cable. This was really useful since I have several devices in my home that only have ethernet ports but still need Wi Fi access.
