YONGNUO YN14EX II Macro Flash Review

I recently had the pleasure of using the YONGNUO YN14EX II Macro Flash with my Canon camera, and I have to say that it is an excellent product. The flash is designed for use with Canon cameras and provides a great range of features that make it perfect for macro photography.

First of all, the YN14EX II has exposure compensation, FEB, rear curtain sync, FE lock and Fn custom settings. It also has a TTL flash ratio setting which can be used to adjust the balance between flash tubes A and B or make just one flash tube flash. This feature enables you to achieve a sculptural effect in your photographs. Additionally, the flash is equipped with four different color temperature filters white, red, fluorescent green, and warm yellow , which can be easily changed thanks to the magnetic drawing method.

The flash also comes with an adapter ring for lenses with filter sizes of 52mm, 58mm, 67mm or 72mm. It has a large LCD display which makes it easy to check and set the functions. Furthermore, it has an LED AF assist lamp that provides high brightness for focusing in dark environments. Lastly, there is a 2.5mm PC synchronous interface so you can easily use synchronized flash functions via a PC sync cord.

Another great feature of this product is that it has an external power socket which allows for a high speed recycling time when using brand new batteries the full output recycle time is only 3 seconds while 4 5 seconds are enough when not using brand new batteries. This makes it very convenient to use this macro flash in various situations with fast results each time.

Overall, I think that YONGNUO YN14EX II Macro Flash is an excellent product for anyone who wants to take professional and creative macro photography shots with their Canon camera without worrying about their equipment not performing well in difficult conditions or failing under pressure.
